On May 14, ahead of the annual "May 15 National Investor Protection Awareness Day," the Capital Market Investor Education "Spark Initiative" Annual Summit and the First Financial Powerhouse Lecturer Sharing Conference, guided by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and hosted by the Securities Times, was held in Shenzhen. On the 2024 "May 15 National Investor Protection Awareness Day," under the guidance of SZSE, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), the Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE), China Securities Investor Services Center, and the Shenzhen Supervision Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Securities Times—affiliated with the People's Daily—officially launched the "Spark Initiative" as its lead unit. The initiative aims to establish a long-term collaborative mechanism for investor education. Recognizing the critical role of investor education in the healthy development of the capital market, GF Fund became one of the first institutional members to join the "Spark Initiative." To date, over 100 financial institutions have joined the initiative.

The event also announced the inaugural cohort of the "Spark Initiative" lecturer database.
