GF Fund has proactively responded to calls from the Guangdong Supervision Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and the Asset Management Association of China, organizing activities for the 2025 "May 15 National Investor Protection Awareness Day." The initiative promotes rational investment concepts, strengthens investor protection awareness, and safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of investors—particularly small and medium-sized investors.

During the campaign, GF Fund's Investor Education Center leveraged two programs—Fund Hotline and FAFA Companion Investing—to highlight key reforms outlined in the CSRC’s recently released Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Public Funds. These initiatives helped popularize the concept and advantages of innovative flexible-rate funds, further bolstering investor confidence and fostering a sound market environment. Aligned with the 2025 "Civil Code Awareness Month," the Legal Knowledge Corner program promoted the fundamental principles and key provisions of the Civil Code. Educational content also focused on capital market regulations like the Securities Law and the Company Law.
To foster rational investment perspectives, GF Fund’s Investor Education Center updated its Fishing Academy program, incorporating behavioral finance insights to help investors avoid behavioral biases. Additional programs—Know the Rules Before Trading and Dispute Resolution Case Studies—educated investors on fund trading regulations, promoted a multi-path dispute resolution mechanism, and encouraged investors to resolve disputes through non-litigation channels. The anti-fraud video Fraud is Here: Journey to the West Edition reached broader audiences through placements across over 3,500 buildings in Foshan.

On May 15, under the guidance of the Guangdong Supervision Bureau of the CSRC, Guangdong Local Financial Regulation Administration, and Guangzhou Municipal Financial Affairs Office, the Guangdong Securities and Futures Association partnered with multiple securities, futures, and fund institutions along with investor education bases in the region to host the "May 15 National Investor Protection Awareness Day" main event and "Cantonese Financial Education·Cantonese Excellence" investor education marketplace activity at Guangzhou Huachenghui Square. GF Fund’s "Regulation Learning Hub" exhibit creatively integrated the "Nine New Guidelines," the Civil Code, Securities Law, and Company Law into interactive games. Its investor education team also delivered an anti-fraud lecture and creative skits to raise public awareness.
GF Fund's Investor Education Center integrated investor protection advocacy with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development initiatives, actively participating in the 2025 Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone campaign themed "Protect Your Wallet, Secure Your Family's Well-being" for investor protection and economic crime prevention. The initiative included a publicity booth at Hengqin Port featuring prize-winning quizzes to enhance investor risk awareness. Additionally, GF Fund invited faculty and students from South China University of Technology for on-site visits and lectures about public fund operations. Investor protection concepts were integrated into the university's elective course High-Quality Development and Innovation of Public Funds, guiding students to invest rationally through proper channels.
Online activities—launched via Rednote, Bilibili, and WeChat—included interactive segments such as "Financial Misconception Q&As," " Don’t Let Your Wallet Suffer a Stealth Attack," and "Test Your Financial Knowledge," urging investors to prioritize rationality and risk awareness while protecting their rights.
Investor protection advocacy requires sustained commitment. Moving forward, GF Fund's Investor Education Center will institutionalize its investor protection efforts, actively advance investor confidence and tangible benefits, and contribute to the high-quality development of the capital market.
