On July 28, the finals of the first University Student Fund Knowledge Contest, which received much attention, came to an end in Nanjing, and GF Fund-related South China University of Technology team win the third place.
The first college student fund knowledge competition was guided by the Asset Management Association of China, sponsored by China Securities Journal, and included in the association's "one fund management company, one province, one university" investor education activity. Teams from 17 colleges and universities participated under the "one-on-one" guidance of the fund company. The competition was divided into two stages: online competition and offline competition. The online competition includes online questions answering, and has been successfully held in December 2022. Since July 2023, the offline preliminaries, semi-final and final competition has been successively held.
In order to further help investor education to be included in the national education system, popularize fund knowledge, and convey correct investment concepts, this time, GF Fund joined hands with South China University of Technology to form a joint team to participate in the competition. During the finals, the whole team relied on their solid knowledge, stable performance, flexible tactics and answered many high-scoring questions and finally won the third place in the competition.
The good results are inseparable from teamwork and professional training. During the preparation period, the professionals of GF Fund, as team leaders and coaches, prepared 7 rounds of special training and tests for participating students on basic fund knowledge, laws and regulations, registration-based initial public offering (IPO) system, personal pension, etc. At the same time, after each round, the team will review their performance and simulate the next round of competition.

You Dayong, a team member of South China University of Technology who is also an intern at GF Fund, said that through this competition, he not only learned a lot of professional knowledge, but also gained a better understanding of the fund industry and had a better understanding of future career development plans.
